Family Therapy
To enhance positive boundaries and close bonds.. for children to feel free to be and say what goes, knowing to be heard with understanding, calm and love...

Our sessions will help you understand what you are experiencing as a family, offer techniques for you to attune to your child(ren)'s needs so that you feel confident in supporting them emotionally, while empowering them to communicate and navigate their feelings securely.
For families with young children, I recommend parents consultations (see the parents consultation page). For families with pre-teens and young people, different combinations of sessions are suggested following an initial parents consultation assessment.
Families may seek support when children are experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties, such as depression, anxiety, difficulties at school and with friends, adjusting to a difficult/painful family event or change.
I encourage understanding and expression of emotional needs through bonding activities for the intervention to be as empowering and therapeutic as possible for each family member.
By guiding each family member to attune to their own range of felt or unknown emotions and needs, natural strengths, vulnerabilities and be curious and open to those of the others, the sessions offer a safe context to explore and learn self and co-regulation, validation and attunement that allow the repair of ruptures and attachment injuries, fresh ideas and strategies to get co-created into healthy loving and predictable dynamics and communication patterns.
Parents, children and siblings feel confident and free in accessing their own internal state in the navigating of life and its challenges, knowing its expression is welcomed with love, compassion and consistent positive responses.

Families of adults
In my work with families of adult children, nuclear/blended/reconstituted, where family members experience conflict, disharmony either between parent(s)- adult child and /or between siblings; estranged parents; difficulties after a significant family event/ rupture. I support families find meaning to the discord or differences and collaboratively co-create positive healthy resolutions that validate each members needs and hopes.
